I dig it. That guy is talented.

I just really love the MHJR version. I first heard them like 5 or 6 years ago. They were doing covers and making all the videos with their roomates doing silly stuff in the background. Their take of Hallelujah as well as Slow Dancing in a Burning Room will always be my favorites.

In Color by Jamey Johnson and Waiting on June by Holly Williams. Reminds me of my grandparents life. And It Won't Be Like This For Long by Darrius Rucker because I have kids.

I can't listen to "Fix You" by Coldplay without sobing. After Katrina a video was made of all the death and destruction with "Fix You" as the soundtrack and all I can think of when I hear that song is that video

I remember that video and it was a touching video. I thought I was the only one who thinks of Katrina when hearing that song now. Of course, now it just makes me think of evacuating my home in Ascension parish in a boat last August, too. Same song, new dance now.

You know for my money it doesn't get any better than when Michael Bolton sings when a man loves a woman. I celebrate the guy's entire catalog.

Supermarket Flowers by Ed Sheeran.

Hit me like a sack of bricks. About losing a parent (or anyone really).

Amazing Grace when it's done right, it's cumulative emotional effect is from going to too many funerals of people I loved.

Beethoven's 9th was played in '89 when the Berlin Wall came down, that can be a big emotional deal for folks who remember it even without a specific dog in the reunification hunt.
