I have a 2019 3.5 and don’t think it is that bad.

Did you know in the Lariat and above they pipe in V8 noise through the speakers when you accelerate hard?

I got the 4wd. I didn't get the Platinum package as I'm not an OT baller. Just a Lariat package, and its still nicer than the Yukon Denali that I traded in.

Mac, does it use the OBD2 programmers? I got one to turn off the auto-shutoff “feature”, and to be able to use navigation while driving

No you can adjust it through the in dash computer LINK

I haven't done it but this is what I read

. What year and 4wd or 2wd. I’ve literally never heard anyone gettin close to this on an F-150.

I have a 2012 FX4 and am ecstatic if I get 17-18. I write it off to 4WD plus the bedcover weight. If I’m averaging 78mph,, I’m getting closer to 15.5, IIRC.

6.2 V8 GOAT

That’s what I have in my 2012 Lariat. By far the best engine to have in the F150.

Mine is the 2018 crewcab, 2wd with the max tow package, using premium gas.

You guys have me doubting myself though, with traffic I won’t be able to check on the way home because I can’t get up to the speed limit, ever; but in the morning I’ll check again and reset my tracker.

Mac, do you know if adjusting that will also adjust what the miles-till-empty readout will display?

I did a test last month trying to run my tank low, and when it said I should have run out, I still had 3 gallons of fuel left. Would be nice if that fix did both.

I’ve got the V8. Haven’t had a single issue so far.

No, I don't know anything about that. Ask f150forum.com, promise they'll have an answer

BTW, one thing about Ford’s Sync3 that pisses me off to no end... if there is a passenger in the front passenger seat, FFS, don’t disable navigation key usage.

I agree completely, but I'm curious. Does your Sync3 not have voice command?

I just got a 2.7 and love it. Tows the boat fine.

I was skeptical but it's legit.

It does, but for instance if we’re on the road already, and the navigation won’t pick up the POi by name, someone has to read the address out, which if it’s in another state can be a complete cluster. It’d be easier just to type it.

2016 F150 XLT 4WD CREW

19.0 MPG average with factory tires
18.3 MPG average after I put BFG KO's in stock size (those must be some heavy arse tires)

Still Gets about 22-24 on the highway at 65mph
Gets about 10mpg pulling my bumper pull camper weighing about 5500 lbs.

@Legendary yeah overall. this includes sitting idle, traffic etc. If i reset it, i can show an average of 21-22 for a short trip but it always reduced down to around 17.8 - 18
