Why did it take you 500 words when 3 would suffice: adult human female.

Because that is not the definition of any meaningful english language dictionary at any time in the history of the english language. The definition in any that is considered refferable in scholarly texts is, as I wrote " adult biological female human"

And I'm the one being obtuse?

Please go away. You've taken what could have been a fun thread (something that has been missing from the OT lately) and shite all over it.

I have only responded to the OP and any posts associated with that first response of mine. I have only added to the thread in the manner sought by the OP...if you do not like it do not read it...I have never derailed the OP...

The difference is that change is the only thing one can rely on in time...some folks cope with change, some find it impossible to cope with change. Coping with change is the only choice one has if one is to continue moving in any direction

I do not see this as a good argument. Yes, change always happens. Problem is, change is not always good. To cope with all changes for the sake of change is not something to hang a hat on. Not coping with change that is not good is to be applauded.

Lots of the '80s beer commercials had a "Miami Vice" influence about them. And the women were usually on fire...

And how long has this been a definition gender? Roughly 70 years...and is not considered accurate by any scholar in any publication anywhere...it was introduced to present information to a public which was widely viewed as incapable of understanding the difference between gender and sex, two concepts which have been clearly defined in English for over 1500 years...one is either capable of understanding the difference or is unable to do so as many scholars believe...I assume you count yourself in the latter group but I suspect you know better...

This is the commercial that first got my attention as a child. I had a fascination with the West and mountains. I kept this in mind my entire life, finally pulled the trigger and did similar...

fully understand to be narrow minded and bigoted you either have to be too stupid to use a dictionary or too obtuse. I also fully understand the definition of gender as opposed to the definition of sex and biology. You are 100% correct that my mind is made up and nothing will change it...I have made up my mind to accept that words have accepted definitions and are therefore used appropriately whether they fit my world view or not.

mmbeer is back and turning threads into political shite shows....can all sides just the frick up and let one goddamn thread not turn into this shite?

It is obviously a struggle for you personally to be confronted with any information which does not confirm your bias...you have made that abundantly clear. No one cares about your participation in anything...you are meaningless in the overall scheme of things as are all people...we will die someday and outside of a few people, if we are lucky, no one will ever know. It might help you with your struggles not to respond to anything which triggers you...that is the action you can control, not someone else's action.
