My niece went to chalmette and got punched in the face by a 17 year old a-hole that was still a sophomore. Her bf beat the shite out of him, so all is well.

Damn, these sub-saharans getting more violent by the day. Back when I was in high school if you get in a fight and the teacher gets hit, that's an automatic expulsion. Not a suspension.

I’ve been punched twice in the process of breaking up fights at school. Luckily both were glancing blows and didn’t do any damage. It’s almost impossible for one teacher, especially a female, to break up a fight unless one participant willingly stops fighting.

Don't try to break up a fight unless you are sure you can take a punch and you are capable of atleast overpowering the people fighting.
I respect the teacher for wanting to step in, but don't do it. Leave that to the security officer, football coach, or whatever male authority is nearby in the building.

These fights we’re common at Hammond too. Well thug fights happed on campus, those of us with cars had the decency to take it to the pits after school. I say decency but it was actually fear. I was more afraid of my mom finding out I fought at school then I was of any one I fought at the pits.
