Why pay 40,000 for a mini truck

31,000.

I'm not a full sized guy. I don't need a full sized truck.

It towed a 30lbs bag of mulch from lowes for me just fine, although my mini van seems to have more power.

Get a full size. Small trucks are for teenage girls.

Probably a good truck that is box on frame as opposed to a car chassis.
A plus is that the frame is boxed, so it may not be bad. Just depends on the type of engine and all the electrical junk they add to it.

I have a 2019 with no issues I was skeptical at first bc I wanted an F150. After 5.5 months I couldn't be happier with my decision - Named it Walker Texas. Could you elaborate on the issues you've seen with the 2019 so I may keep an eye on it?

A job I left last year had about 6 in their fleet. Baws said they had issues. I have a 2000 Ranger XL, v6, 5 speed. That thing purrs and dirt cheap to work on. 99k. Hope to keep it for years.

THIS is a Maverick:

Ford should have called their new truck the "Ranchero."

Sorry I'm just getting back to this.

I read they had powertrain issues. Engine/transmission. was supposedly fixed in the newer models.

1 month in to having one and I'm pretty happy with it. Tows my boat like it ain't there. The ride is kind of bouncy as others have reported but it doesn't seem to be any more than any of the other mid sized trucks I've driven.

I certainly hope so. Just bought a 2021. The transmission in my old car went out, needed to find something fast.
Drove a 2019 Tacoma and 2022 Frontier. Liked the Ranger the most.
