Thank goodness the glass companies are making some of the largest profits in company history

I am so confused by these comments. They bought leases and planned for development at a much lower price so when the price goes up due to supply/demand of course they make more money. What do you want them to do?

Gas prices rise to another all time high at $4.715 from $4.671 yesterday.

It feels like we shouldn't STILL be having 1% jumps in price in one day. Where does this end?

Prices in California are up to $6.21

I hate to be petty, but if I am getting something at a tip-based business (for example, a coffeeshop, bakery or a bar) and I have a strong inkling that the server/barista/bar keep is liberal, I purposefully don't tip them now.

I’m sure y’all were complaining about gas prices this much when it went from $2 to $4/gal under Bush in 2004-2008.

Uh, yea. If you didn't, you were retarded.

Nah, I just find it funny that someone felt the need to start a thread over a 1% increase.

All those 1% increases have added up to record highs. But yea, it's juts THIS 1%. The lengths you twats go to to defend this shitshow are truly amazing.

Up $.11 a gallon overnight here in Arizona where I'm working. My little car gets 60 mpg but it still sucks. Glad I didn't drive my truck out here.

Back then people were saying the President had no control over fuel costs, and whenBarry was elected and gas rose they were saying the same thing.

Trump showed everybody that the President does have a lot of control.

Negotiating with the Saudi’s and, more importantly, becoming energy independent is how Trump did it.
