Click on the link. You'll see he's got artifacts not just from Germany but also Italy, Great Britan, Japan, the US, and the Soviet Union. That's an impressive collection.

If that collection came on the market while Ralph Engelstad, owner of the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas, was still alive I'm sure he would have been interested in purchasing some of the collection. Las Vegas used to have at least two stores that specialized in military memorabilia, and Engelstad was a well known patron.

What's the random Edelweiss patch for in the middle picture? I thought that was an Austrian national thing. Wouldn't think the Nazis would have been cool with Austrian nationalism.

The Edelweiss is also a German symbol. Their mountain troops wore it.

I have a lot of cool Nazi books that have pictures glued in and are worth a few hundred each but nothing like that

That's a huge collection, but outside of the vehicles you can find most of that stuff on the collector's market right here in the US. Have fun paying for it but if you have the money its available. There isn't any great need for museums to have any of that stuff. They have plenty. I think it's better to keep what's left for private collections.

Not to mention a very popular German march song from WWII titled "Edelweiss."
