Do not shop at Honda Covington. Buyer beware.
What’s the story here? I went there after they agreed to a price on a used car over the phone and after I got there told me they couldn’t do it for that price.
I got up and told them thank you for wasting my time and gas driving there and left.

My answer wouldn't fit the narrative of the OT.
Good luck.
Good luck.

If you don't have a need for a truck or SUV, keep what you have and invest in the top notch maintenance and repair of that vehicle.
It is FAR better than anything you can buy new.

If you’re going to offload a perfectly good Lexus then you’re not worried about finances. So get a Raptor or something fun.

After going through various cars my life only to be shocked at the trade in appraisal when we decide to become a Toyota family a while back. Best decision ever.
Also want to mention that the 3.5 ecoboost is an absolute beast of a motor that will last forever if you give it the proper oil.

My current Toyota is ten years old, 175k miles, and runs good as new. Cabin is still tight, no squeaks or rattles. It’s impressive.

The average lifespan on a car is 13 years and has done nothing but go up over time.
13 year old trucks are great. It’s the new ones that are having problems. Not always catastrophic problems, but many documented problems. So what good is a “lifespan” statistic if my truck is still alive but always in the shop?

The 8 cyl GX’s are legendary for their reliability and performance. Hold on to that MF’er.

Wtf do I do?
Find you a used Tacoma with THE 4 LITER V6 ENGINE.
All the new ones now have 4 cylinder turbocharger engines.
