google natural ways to control DHT. DHT causes your hair loss. The prescriptions also work, but then you have to deal with copays and doctors.

Hair loss, like hair growth, is caused by hormones. Control the hormones, and you can control hair, whether it be too much hair or not enough hair.

Are you in your 30s? Is your former school coming off the best football season they have had in years? Is your new school building incredible football facilities that will allow you to become more competitive in the Big 10? Are you well spoken and often seen as a motivator? Are you on your second wife already?

Because if your PJ Fleck, you can pull this shite off. According to my wife.

But if you're not, welcome to aging and bad genetics.

I was never vain enough to care about my hair even when I had a full head. I shaved my head for football in high school and it never grew back the same.

I’m only 36 and I got used to balding a long time ago and I’ve never had an issue sleeping.

I only offered my advice of accepting reality. It makes life easier and more fulfilling.

Apples and oranges

Eta if you think orthodontics is 100% cosmetic, you need to educate yourself.

It’s estimated 20-50% is solely cosmetic. I’ll concede 50% of the population for braces. What’s your opinion of the other 50% with a jacked up grill not embracing it?

My opinion is they can do what they want but when they develop TMJ issues or carious teeth due to overcrowding, they’ll wish they didn’t embrace it.

Eta - People who don’t get their grill fixed are most likely ignorant of any possible complications. People who are balding are well aware of the increased risk of sunburn on their heads. If not, they’re plain stupid. That’s why I wear hats and use sunscreen when putting myself at risk of excessive sun exposure.

Again you’re comparing apples and oranges.

I started balding early and just went straight razor, got a tan and stay in shape so look a lot like Vin Diesel. If you're fat and balding you're screwed.

Not balding, but have premature graying.

If you're fat with hair you are screwed too. Eventually you stop caring about it. A lot of chicks don't mind the shaved head, in shape look and some do. You still have plenty to work with. I'm not sure that I'd grow mine back if I could and it's turning gray anyway. I've embraced getting older. I give less and less of a shite what other people think of me with each passing day. It's quite liberating.

Yes, in a world with 100% medically necessary orthodontists, we are certainly comparing apples to oranges. Anyone out there with summer teeth, time is running out.

Preventive care orthodontics can sometimes be seen as cosmetic by the ill-informed.

Eta - I just looked through this thread. Do you work for Dr Cole?

Someone actually told me once that the same chemical/hormonal changes that make you go bald also make facial hair more plentiful. I want this to be true so I've never looked it up

yes. what has worked for me is prostate drug called finpecia. It blocks the mechanism DHT from allowing your hair to fall out. It's worked for me probably 10 years.

You can get a prescription at a dermatologist and get about a 3 month supply for $20. You just have to split the 5mg to 4 bits with a pill splitter

DHT is involved in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Finasteride (Propecia) is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss. Finasteride (Proscar) is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with an enlarged prostate. This medicine is for use in men only.

You can't just reverse male pattern baldness through googling and natural cures. As of now the only proven way is finasteride.

A lot of people reference being fat and being bald as the anti-poon, but I think the worst combination is little facial hair and baldness.

Then you look less Jason Statham and more leukemia.

Again, another post where you did your heels in that 100% of orthodontics is non cosmetic. Can’t argue with an absolutist, even though I have several family members who got braces solely for cosmetic reason.

I do not work for Cole, just a happier, albeit poorer, person than I was before my 3 visits. But anyone considering procedure for the proximity to most posters and a top 5 worldwide doc by any experts opinion, you’d be short sighted not to use him.
