I'm extremely conservative about driving/drinking, but a dude drinking 4 bud lights in 2.5 hours and getting a DUI at 2PM is a pretty nightmare scenario. I'm actually interested in what he would have blown. It might have been pretty close.
I have difficulty even mustering an enthusiastic "you should know better."

The wife and I Uber if we are going out which is pretty rare because I'm old and have kids. I don't mind going to have 3-4 beers after work and driving. That amount of beer doesn't give me a buzz and I'm well under the legal limit for a 6'3" 225 lb guy.
That's why I'm wondering why the OP didn't blow unless he had more than he stated, he had them in a very short amount of time or he's a small guy and was actually buzzed.

If you drink 4 beers after work and drive, you're over the limit, whether you feel buzzed or not
ETA: I actually just used this calculator
and I'm apparently wrong (if the calculator is correct). Someone 225 pounds can drink over 5 beers in one hour and still be under .08. Seems pretty surprising

Don’t sweat it too much. First offense is a headache, but it’s mostky just a hit on your wallet. Learn from it though, you’lr ‘get out of jail free’ card has now been used. 2nd offense is a much bigger deal.
