A lot of actresses and pop stars don't really look like they do on stage or in planned photo ops.
Ran into Scarlett Johansson on an elevator. Had no idea that was her until we went to the same restaurant in the hotel we were in and the host called her by her name.
Springsteen used to be famous for this because he looks very ordinary in person and as such can get away with walking around a boardwalk by himself almost unnoticed. However, if you do notice him and you are cool about it he's pretty friendly and will take a picture with you. Happened to a friend of mine who was getting a sandwich on the boardwalk in AC. Looked over asked a guy for mustard, guy gave him mustard. He says, " Thanks, anyone ever tell you that you sort of resemble Bruce Sprngsteen?" He says " Yeah my wife tells me that periodically." Then he puts out his hand and says. " Nice to meet you, I'm Bruce Springsteen and you?"
