Yes I have.

$27,000 in taxable income. Getting $1700 back from Uncle Sam. Get it while you can boys and girls.

I got the most back this year than any previous year. I did start my own business and was a w2 employee until July. Showing losses and whatnot. I'm pretty happy about it

The amount of taxes we pay on this shite-run state (and Greenville County) is am abomination. And for what? We have a bridge that USED to connect two major highways. It has been out for about 5 years. Five years. Increases traffic congestion and commute times for a lot of folks. People freaking live on this road.

They just come and readjust the road closed sign after a storm.

My goal is to pay enough into 529 accounts so at least the state doesn’t get my income.

I started doing mine on TurboTax. When I entered my social security info it cost me 3000. I was told that I wouldn’t have to pay taxes on that income

I donated around $8M last year, I am still trying to locate some of those receipts, but I should have everything sent to my accountant by mid March.

First time dealing with marketplace insurance. Wife had to retire early for medical reasons and had to get insurance because she is not old enough for Medicare yet. I didn’t know about the 1095 form because we didn’t receive one. After adding it in, we went from getting back a little over $1400 to owing over $1500. How is that even possible? That’s a $2900 swing! Obama was the worst thing that ever happened to our country.

What were your options in this scenario before Obamacare?

No clue what your gross or adjusted income is, but you paid less than $9K in fed income tax? I'm retired and paid $5K more than that. What/how many are you claiming? Married filling jointly? etc. etc.
