Lol. I’ve always heard from old timers to name your hunting dogs a one syllable name. Maybe it’s more their convenience than the dogs

We have a french bulldog that was the runt as well. We named her “Ellie Sue”, which sounds just like LSU.

She’s now had numerous health problems, mainly meningitis, which has costed us near $12,000.

Sounds like OP should get some pet insurance... although his wife does work at the vet I'm sure it isn't free.

I have always had labs growing up and present day.

My wife found an adoption place that had a runt French bulldog that was about half a year old. I wasn’t too thrilled with it bc I’ve always strayed away from bull dogs due to their breathing issues.

Man idk what I’ll do when this little dog passes away in the hopefully distant future. Hands down the most loving dog I’ve ever had.
