he sad thing is you probably actually believe that. These numbers have been fudged (and politicized) since the beginning. There’s been nowhere close to 100K+ deaths because of the Chinese Flu.

Tell this shite to the doctors and nurses out there fighting the carnage every day.

By the time a vaccine is released, the virus will mutate and it won’t be effective. Covid will be here from now on and people will get it and die every year. The US is done.

The death toll from Covid when all this is done is going to be second only to the great tax break die off of '17, followed closely by the net neutrality massacre of '18.

Where is your link for this?

I was curious too, so I looked it up and found this on the CDC website:

quote:

What do your results mean?

If you test positive

A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.

Doctors and nurses get paid handsomely to deal with this and much worse on a daily basis

Perhaps both sides need to realize the virus is here to stay for a while and adjust accordingly.

I'd Biden wins it will disappear with swiftness. Greatest miracle since Jesus raised from the dead.

I must have missed the part where the cold offed over half a million people in just a few months

See the 1889-1890 "flu" pandemic.

There is a highly speculative chance that pandemic was caused by HCoV-OC43, now one of the common cold coronaviruses.

Also, these common cold coronaviruses still kill a lot of people each year, especially those in nursing homes. Folks that end up with viral pneumonia without a positive flu test have to get it from somewhere, no?

They stopped using that excuse back in May, we aren’t getting overrun.. ITS TO SAVE LIVES.. lil info the masks will not save 1 life, neither will the distancing, the virus is here, grandma is eventually gonna wander out and come across a carrier, will happen to you also, then it’s up to your immune system what comes next. The only thing delaying does is help earlier folks who had it become less immune, slowing it down gives the virus an ongoing food supply.

Oschner in Baton Rouge
Friday - 2 covid patients
Saturday - 23 covid patients
Monday - an entire floor of the hospital full with 2 deaths before noon

yep not a problem at all

For those who think heard immunity is the answer, are you willing to sacrifice/lose a parent for monetary sacrifices/temporary life style changes?

"Monetary sacrifices and temporary lifestyle changes" sound nicer than a young family losing their home to foreclosure and having to declare bankruptcy or an entrepeneur having to permanently close the business they spent decades building.

Yes, I'll die from this if it means others won't have to suffer these hardships. I'll take my chances in a free society with an open and intact economy, knowing the risks involved alongside others who have the stomach for it.

The weak, the infirmed and the frightened can cower at home or don their hazmat suits or bury themselves in toilet paper or take whatever remedial actions they wish. I won't force them to live like me and I expect the same in return.

That’s for the antibody tests. Which it also says you shouldn’t use to diagnose active COVID infection.

Most state departments do not consider positive antibody tests as part of their confirmed cases of COVID.

If counted....it’s counted as a probable case....since the antibody test alone cannot confirm COVID

Cut that 100k dead number in half and you MIGHT have an accurate death total but it probably less than that.

Do you think that many doctors are willingly committing a felony by falsifying medical records?

Hypothetical, if everyone wears a mask for 6 weeks, would that eliminate the virus?; It would run its course through infected assuming mask is 100% effective. Explain it like I'm dumb and not just to get through the next 2 weeks.

Yes he does because he can't see how ridiculous that assumption is through the lens of his politically tinted glasses.

Got to be real about it. The Chinese released a hell of a weapon on us. They have beaten the US and I see no reason for optimism.

Mask requirements put off herd immunity.

I agree with the premise that wearing masks is absurd. However, I don't think it puts off herd immunity because they are completely ineffective. The virus will continue to spread and we will be closer to herd immunity.
