yea but attending a student party and hopping in a car to take off with one of the kids?
not being a HC person myself, that story reads incredibly weird.

There was a blonde biology teacher. She was sexy. She got hit on by students from other schools at the dance mixers. There was a young teacher I thought she taught English. A classmate who never paid attention in any class would sit in front row by her desk. He told us what color panties and style she had on everyday because she loved to wear skirts and sit on her desk and cross and uncross her legs all day. He had a perfect view everyday.

I must have been in your class. I almost went on that trip but didn't. I heard it was good trip and the female Spanish teacher was there too. Girard was a cool arse teacher.

, Batt was fired for pitching in a Legion district game against a weaker team to save his staff's arms. And apparently that wasn't the first time and he was supposedly warned multiple times and parents bitched
The coach pitching in a Legion game is actually the oddest part of this thread to me. Was there not an outfielder with an arm he could bring in to pitch? I think that is weird as shite

Blonde was Mrs. Hagarty. English teacher was Mrs. Haase. My junior year there was a history teacher, Ms. Pique, that worked at Hooters on the weekends.

That's just how he is. He probably wanted to pitch more than anyone on that field.

I'm sorry, but this just doesn't sound right to me. Why is a grown woman showing up at a party full of teenagers?
You should think harder about this. What does the guy have to gain by dragging her name through the mud? There is no civil case is there? He could be doing it for the attention but how many men are attention seekers? That's the sort of thing that women partake in.
Quite a few people who are abused as children end up having really crappy lives. Ask yourself why this guys life is so screwed up.

When I was a senior in the '80s, she came to one of our senior parties to hang out. Several of our teachers often did this, both male and female. She has always been into herpetology (amongst every other aspect of science), and I had just picked up a couple Tokay geckos - which weren't at all common back then. She hopped in my car and came over to my house. My parents are sitting there on the sofa in their robes late on a Saturday night, knowing that I'm off at a party, and suddenly the door opens and I come strolling in with my science teacher to show her my reptile collection.

Hagarty is the the one I was thinking of from back then. I vaguely remember Mrs. Haase.

There's already a joke written somewhere in here.

I'm sure several of us on here from that time know each other. That was a great trip. I remember there was another school there from Buffalo, NY with several females. It made the trip much more enjoyable.

I've spoken to a few of my old Holy Cross friends. They all graduated in the early-to-mid 80's. To a man, none are at all surprised. They all basically had the same reaction -- why did it take this long to come out. And, they've all speculated (independently) on the identity of the "victim" and it's the same name from all. Apparently, she just seemed a little too close to this one kid during that time period.
And, no, I will not give his name or initials. But, he was apparently one of the stars of the football team.

Your story is completely and totally inappropriate for a teacher. Never has been. Fraternization with students in that manner has no upside at all. My dad was a teacher. I've been around high school teachers my entire life (even in the 80s and 90s), and what you describe would not have ever been acceptable. Would at least have gotten a warning if not a job termination. Hanging out at student parties and going home with kids on Saturday nights (no matter how innocent). I've never imagined that would be thought of as okay.
We had a school police officer known to hang out with some of the girls in his office or after school. Was just a guy who was interested in the students lives. Until he got caught fu**ing them and is spending like 30 years in jail or some crazy shite.

I'm not saying you're full of shite, I'm just saying I am amazed that you found several people that graduated 30 years ago that can all remember the name of a particular teacher's pet.
I graduated 11 years ago and I can't remember even close to that kind of minutiae about high school.

Like I said, he was one of the big football stars. I think most people remember the football stars from their high school. And, according to one guy, outside of class time, the kid was always by her side. He said that it was almost like they weren't even trying to hide it.

Your timeline also doesn't fit, but I'm sure there was "that guy" in every class, no matter how true or accurate the rumors.
