Cullinan
The real OG Ballers have a B6 level armored version with a full-time chauffeur, a private security ops bodyguard sitting shotgun, and their OT 10 personal assistant in the other captain's chair all while conducting business in the rear cabin watching Belly, sipping champagne, and puffing a cigar with the double-pane bulletproof windows slightly cracked ya dig?

The neighborhood we stay in has a mix of really high-end mansions and dilapidated 50 year old ranch houses some not occupied right next door in some cases.
That’s pretty common here because of the crazy growth the city has seen. I have bungalows on both sides of me.

If you not a millionaire you have to live an hour from downtown. I work from home but considered moving back. Would only be in office twice a week. Considering a 1.25 hour commute. I like driving and working from home has stunted that. But it has to be the right drive. Drivers know what I mean. For instance I lived by Minute Maid one and hardy toll road was a life safer

I stayed in a decent hotel in a ghetto neighborhood. Moved to a hotel 2 miles away that was fine. Do not stay in a hotel surrounded by apartments.

That you got from a Galleria kiosk?
All my fine jewelry comes from a salesman in a Mcdonald's parking lot. I mean it says PT 950 right on the tag.
$35.00 I don't know how he sells it so cheap, it must be the low overhead.

Staying off of Westheimer
Well yeah. An easy to google crime map shows you probably chose to hang in a criminal hotspot- LINK
Ever thought about making better decisions?

What type of apartments? Houston has high rises that cost more than a 600-700k mortgage.

I’m staying less than a mile from MD Anderson and the neighborhood I’m in seems fine to me but not very walkable. We don’t have a vehicle.

The galleria area blows. Only people who live over there with any money are try hard douches.
The entire city has flip flopped.
Heights. 10-15 years ago, the Heights was just going to be the site of your murder.
Westheimer. Along with Richmond used to be where to be. Richmond Strip was where to go out. Now? Murdered.
Spring Branch. Was worse that the Heights used to be. Is becoming the Heights but is 10 years behind.
Galleria. Too many old apartments I guess. Now with the traffic that was always on 610 and deteriorating safety I have no idea why anyone would live there. Unless you are in one of the Terms of Endearments homes you are in the hood.
Uptown, Midtown, and Downtown were just spots on the map years past. Now they are places to be.
Guys help me out. Heard a term the other day I can’t recall. Basically it’s East Downtown but is not called that. Something like an abbreviation like “EDT” but that’s not it. That’s the only place that was always a toilet that they’ve improved. Or are at least trying to sell it.
OP if you want to see Hood try a “ward” (pick a number) or Sunnyside or anywhere Southeast.
If you are anywhere on Westheimer just drive a few blocks. Houston has always been strange in having pockets of shite everywhere.
