I've always enjoyed my time there.

Greatest? See no reason why it would be.

Houston has the 5th tallest skyline in North America.

Skylines have always fascinated me. Which other skyline besides NYC, Chicago and I suppose Toronto's tops Houston's

Seattle's or Vancouver's ?

San Francisco?

Seattle's is more interesting than Houston. I don't know if it "tops" it.

This has changed, and continues to change. Dallas is getting worse not better. Dallas had a good run in the 70s-00's. It's simply not better than Houston is all I'm saying.

I've never spent more than a few days at a time in either, but I like Dallas better.

The LA skyline is pretty cool with the mountains in the background.

Houston's is OK but not that great.

ATL is better IMO.

You could make a case for Charlotte too.

Greatest? I dunno about all that.

Better than any city in Louisiana, yes.
Lots of pro sports teams, yes.
Great restaurant scene, yes.
Oil/Gas capital of NA, yes.
Plenty of Entertainment options, yes.
Plenty of Theater/Museum options, yes.
Good Craft Beer Breweries, yes.
High End Female Talent, yes.

Weather, terrible.
Surrounding scenery, shite.
Proximity to Gulf, not great.
Proximity to Mexico, a problem.
Proximity to Outdoor Activities, below average.
It's own culture, doesn't exist.

I love Houston, it’s a second home. But it the top city in America, number 1 for human trafficking.

Houston gets some hate, but I've taken a couple of weekend getaways there recently (instead of just a typical beach weekend) and I think it's a very nice city. Herman Park, the Galleria area, Museum District, Rice University...all very nice areas. shite...River Oaks...I can just drive around there for hours and gawk at it all. Nice city IMO

I've lived in both Houston and DFW for 10+ years each, Houston is nice and has it's draw but DFW is superior in my opinion.

I do miss driving to the gulf to fish on Saturday mornings though.
