Not sure who I'm talking about, but whoever it is caters to an audience that doesn't seem to mind a cringe worthy level of Houston hate.

And I also get a smirk or joke whenever I tell Dallas clients that I live in Houston. All in good fun of course, but to sit there and try and convince people that Dallas people are just so above it all is laughable and says a lot in itself. It's really not a big deal, but seriously, WTF.

You just said that nobody cares... he just proved that you can turn on the radio and hear the bs.
Now you’re deflecting it? Lol ok.

Grtiger- 10/10- I call on customers in dallas. If I mention that I’m from Houston... here comes a negative comment.

If you don't understand how a sprawled out metroplex with multiple "downtowns" detracts from the energy and character of a city, then I don't know what else to say to help explain it.

Why do you hate freedom? Houston doesn’t your big government zoning

Las Colinas isn’t Dallas though. So if you lived in houston proper, you’re comparing a city to a suburb. If you lived in the woodlands or something, then you’re just comparing suburbs and not the actual main cities.

That's not Dallas. If you live in town (lakewood, uptown, deep ellum, north oak cliff, downtown, Forest Hills, Casa Linda, Hollywood heights) then its great. I live in Lakewood and everything I do is usually within 10 minutes....15 if I go to Oak Cliff. I can go several days without getting in the car as I can bike or walk to so many places. But if you live in the burbs of Dallas that's a whole different animal. I know people who have kids like the burbs and i don't want to start that debate, but living in the burbs isn't like living in Dallas. As for Houston, its fine. Last time I was there I remember thinking it was a lot like Dallas. I'm sure if you live inside the loop, its great.

Plus you'd never act like that in person, and don't even come back saying you would because we both know it's not true

I can tell you that I would call you a dumfrick to your face. There are numerous people here that know me and will tell you that I'm the same in person as on the site.

You proved your stupidity multiple times. You don't like Houston which is perfectly fine, but no need to just keep spouting off stupid bullshite.

big government zoning is absolutely necessary to have a decent city... otherwise you end up with Houston

That’s because they are waiting for the condescending remark about Dallas. Never fails.

Heb has purchase property in dfw so it's only a matter of time. With that said, I don't get the hype. I have shopped at HEBs plenty and it's no different than Kroger or Tom Thumb. It reminds me of when Dallas had Minyards and people here thought it was so much better.

Preemptive actions that hide insecurities with pompusity is a great way to show how little this comparison weighs on one's mind.

Technically hotter, but for me Houston is significantly more miserable in the summer once you factor in humidity. I can’t even breathe down there in the summer.

Dallas also gets more snow, and I like winter weather. 1 point for Dallas IMHO

HEB is amazing. I didn’t get it either until I lived in San Antonio. Reallllllly hope they build here, by the rumors get squashed every time they pop up.

Also, I can’t stand central market. It’s crowded af and they don’t have everything you need so you have to go somewhere else too. Nope. Nope. Nope.

Welcome back! Which part are you heading toward?

We're currently looking in Addison, going to see an apartment tomorrow on Addison Circle.
