Return fraud is the sole reason, you, as an "honest customer" only have 48 hours to return anything in a "high abuse" category, have to call the manufacturer for issues on ANYTHING, get return cards attached to your ID, etc... Return fraud affects the honest customer 10× as much as theft.

I have had a few people take advantage of me on my website with products that I know was right. I just ban them from ordering from my site.

No I was a big LL Bean fan and they had a fantastic return policy until assholes kept abusing it and they had to do away with it.
People would go to thrift stores buy shitty ll bean clothes and return them to ll bean for new clothes.
