969 for Methuselah
Posted on 2/6/19 at 10:01 pm to Hank R Hill
Well I haven’t been to school in 40 years but I think the earth is 3 billion years old

You loons actually believe this stuff don't you?
Posted on 2/6/19 at 10:09 pm to Fun Bunch
And why does it bother you that we do?

969/13 full moons a year = about 74-1/2 years of living on earth.
Pretty good for near Stone Age culture.

In Noah’s timeline, the number of full moons you lived were counted.
So 900/13 is almost 70 years.
Later on they switched to the sun for time keeping.
Doesn't that throw off the calculations of a 6k year old young earth, then? How many moon years after creation did they switch over to real years?
Edit: Doesn't that also mean, for example, that Enoch fathered Methuselah at the age of 65/13 = 5?

It doesn't as long as you're not demanding it be taught in school or teaching your poor kids this insanity.

It's the same process by which terrorists and suicide bombers are cultivated.

How did Noah live like 900 years?
Our current calendar is based on the Mayan calendar which was made wayyyyy after Noah and the Old Testament was written. Years were measured differently then

You must regularly fail Captcha's verifying, "I'm not a bottom-rung troll."

Please try to explain this to the “witnesses”
Had one tell me a few years back that we could never live as long as Noah or Adam because of our diets.

Many of these posts have to be sarcasm right? There can’t be that many idiots that post here can there? I’m embarrassed for the person who even posed this issue

Not trolling, but if it is only 6000 years old at the earliest then is the universe also only 6000 years old itself?
Or do new planets and galaxies form as the universe expands?
And, are we sure there is more universe past the cosmic zone? Or whatever the edge is that we can see.
I honestly don't know.
If everything started from one spot and expanded out in 360 degree 3 dimensional directions we would be at the edge of the universe wouldn't we?
shite is above me. Help me out brother.

The earth is around 4 billion years old. The universe is around 12 to 14 billion years old.
