They’re rarely doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.
Unless they ask me to handle it, and in two years I’m going to let me license expire I refer to an active agent I helped train, and know they work hard.

Being a Real estate agent has to be one of the best cons going right now.
-Convince your sellers to underprice their home so you guarantee a quick sale
-Take some pictures, or better yet hire a professional, upload them
-Make a few calls here and there, nothing crazy
-Fill out a few .pdfs, make mistakes, who cares. Maybe your clients will find them.
-?????
-Ez $15,000
Oh you need a buyers agent?
Mostly same steps outside of the pictures. Plus your buyers will find their own house before you do on Zillow.
Might have to go unlock a few doors
Profit again. easy $10k+
I hate realtors. Dealing with one now and have to stay on his arse to do his job. I have dealt with 3 and every single one has been a complete airhead.

And posts like this indicate how little you know about the profession.
Yes a majority of the agents aren’t professionals, they’re part timers looking for an easy buck as a side job. News flash, most of them make little to nothing. It’s easy to weed those out by just doing interviews of prospective ones you might use. Something I tell people over and over, a few even listen.
I can’t say as I’m surprised you have problems with them, we see people like you all the time, and end up having to fix the mistakes you make because you don’t know any better.
