You can’t curse a cop and expect to get away with it. Obviously she had problems. I think he could have let her go early on since there was no harm done. That’s what I would’ve done. Neither was totally right, and being drunk made her incapable.

She was sitting outside the apartment of the person who had her daughter. Had a few drinks? So what. She was harming no one. Cop had her on video for future reference.

People at the apartment called and said she was breaking into her ex's car. That's why the cops showed up.

Was it okay she was attempting to break into vehicles? That's not a harmless act and the reason the cop was called in the first place.

I have zero problem with what the cop did. Stop fricking resisting arrest and you wont get your teeth smashed in by concrete.

Yeah cop completely shite the bed on this one and he deserves to lose his job and hopefully never work in law enforcement again. That's some lazy and incompetent police work right there. And it didnt strike me as a one-off.
First, he was clearly impatient from the jump and powertripping, which led to his incompetent handling of the matter, which led to the injury. Based on the little info he bothered to glean, he should have asked more questions to get a fuller picture of the situation at which point he have very much likely found that it was merely a misunderstanding by the neighbors. But instead he made his mind up prematurely.
A girl trying and failing to get into her ex-husband's truck, then instead sits by his door awaiting his return doesnt fit the M.O. for a burglary. Add to that just a small amount of further investigation and it would have been readily apparent no burglary. Id love to cross-examine him. Id passive-aggressively belittle him like he never thought possible.
