You love your State Farm agent though

No, it’s estimated replacement cost. Big difference.
You might be surprised to see how many folks have ACV policies instead of replacement cost. Those folks are in for an entire new level of screwing over.

I'm insured for $209,000 and my deductible is $4,020. I have National General Insurance, my Adjuster came out today, spent 3 hours here, I'll find out more in the next few days on how much my claim is for.

Think about what State Farm did to original Jake. If they can do that to him, imagine what they will do to you!!

First off, ACV isn’t appraised value either
There are DWelling policies such as that, usually for trailers or rental property

Yep been dealing with SageSure as well. Have to meet the Outside Adjuster at my house for 7am. SageSure is just the 3rd party they outsource claims handling to and not the actual insurer.
Has anyone had any progress on their Ida claims with Sagesure/Fed Nat?
We had the field adjuster do property inspection a week ago and have not had any update since.

There is a zero chance you have a $1000 hurricane deductible in the state of LA.
I handle claims for several carriers and this statement is 100% false

My deductible is 1% ($1,800).. I am hearing some friends have $10,000 deductible and another has a $27,000 deductible. She actually has to take out a loan for her deductible.
