This has quite possibly been the longest Hurricane I can remember tracking. Feel like I’ve been watching it for 2 weeks now.

Yea Louisiana gonna be in a heat wave next 7 or so days.

Most of the southeast too.

I enjoyed the past week with the lows in the 60s at night.

Feels like it’s been 2 years sitting and waiting to see what bits will hit us or not.

Why bother? You think they named those during the 1980s and prior?

Reports are coming in of hard core looting taking place in Grand Bahamas. Weather Nation reporter confirmed he saw two guys involved in heavy duty looting as he filmed over the island today.

Bahamas Press is now reporting same

Real problem is that you are going to have a lot of the addicts going crazy looking for a fix but the drugs are all washed away.

Hurricane Florence. The Carolinas felt like they had a lifetime to prepare for that one.

I wonder if Lootie relocated to Grand Bahama after all of these years. I wonder if found some Heinekens if he is there tonight.

Any Coronas left in Daytona?

Lauren Ziegler is with Lucille Parsons and 5 others.
9 hrs
We have not heard from my cousin and his wife Paul Parsons and Stacie Strandhagen Parsons who were in the Abacos Island in Treasure Cay when the hurricane hit. ????
There is still very little information coming in from Treasure Cay and Marsh Harbour in Abacos Island. If you scroll and search through any social media please keep an eye out for anything close to Paul Parsons and Stacie Strandhagen Parsons. ?? They tried to get a flight out last week but were not able to.
Their last known location was in the house (2nd and 3rd floor) Banyan Crescent, Treasure Cay. This is very near to Marsh Harbour!??????????
My prayers are with everyone that this storm has impacted and for the safety to the people still in the storm's path.

Cant think of much worse ways to go than drowning in your own house with no where to go.

the death toll for this one will be bad.

Just woke up and checked outside. So far, in jax, we are getting no rain and very little wind.

For us, it looks to just be about beach erosion.

Josh Morgerman
@iCyclone
#Hurricane #DORIAN produced the most intense winds I've personally witnessed-- they tossed & mangled cars like toys. DORIAN also gave me lowest pressure I've ever measured--a whopping 913.4 mb in eye. I'll share more of the hardcore meteorological details tomorrow, after I sleep.

He also said this storm was way worse than Hurricane Michael from last year.
