Paid cash.
First time I've used cash to buy something in probably 6 months or more.
When was your last cash transaction at a store?

Is this some kind of bama thing?

Threads like this will never cease to amaze me. You're that insecure that you want to brag about not using cash?

Good question, I seriously can't remember. Probably months ago when I paid a debt to a friend.

Like every day. Or at least most days.

I usually have 300-400 cash in my pocket. Dont carry a wallet. Typically put 3 or 4 hundreds in front pocket, debit card and liscense in back pocket when I walk out the door.

Use cash sometimes, debit card sometimes.

This is the 1999 equivalent of starting a thread about writing a check.

No one cared then either.

I took out $500 cash from a deposit a year ago this month actually. Still have $376 in bills. No telling how much I retained in change since t's split; the quarters in a Crown Royal bag, and the nickels/dimes in a jar bank, pennies in a 5 gallon drum bank. Jar is about full now, maybe an inch of room left across the top.

I pretty much spend cash on most all of my purchases that are under $20. It is entirely too much trouble to use credick for anything that small.

Yea, swiping a card is much more hassle than getting whatever bill out your wallet, waiting for change, putting that change in your pocket and then having to eventually put it somewhere else.

Most of my spending in done on lunches/meals. The process of paying for a meal is a hell of a lot longer when using a credit card due to the wait time between multiple trips by the waitstaff to process all of this crap and get me a receipt back.

When paying with cash, I get the ticket, throw my next highest bill on the table and walk out with my copy of the ticket.

I use credit cards for probably 90% of my spending. Usually will have a little cash on me for the occasional stop in the bar for a beer or the vending machines at work.

The credit card rewards are too good to pass up.

I use cash for almost everything... groceries, restaurants, hardware store, whatever. It is very rare for me to pull out a card for stuff like that.

The one spot I usually use a card is at the gas pump. Pay at the pump is just too damn convenient.
