Based on the crowds, not really. Pretty good turnout. Totally different vibe and atmosphere. I went to Intl fest on Saturday and Jazz Fest on Sunday. Both were great but different

They always do, I think it is to get some of the sideline performers and such as they are in the area for Jazzfest.
I would place it in late March if it was up to me. The best weather of the year.
Not sure why Festival Acadians moved to spring this year.

I'm not defending BR at all, nor was I saying Thibodaux was better than either. Maybe that USL degree isn't worth that much.

The spring festival was a make up due to Covid. They will have another festival this fall and get back on their usual schedule.

The spring Acadians was a make up for cancelling October 2021, there will be another Festival Acadians this coming October, then after that I believe they're going back to their once a year schedule in the fall.
