This might be a stupid question, but how would mass sterilization work? Wouldnt you need to catch them to sterilize them? At that point, just kill them.

A constrictor like a python/boa/anaconda kills by surprising it'sprey with a quick strike and holding on as it coils around the victim. Once the victim is secured it starts to squeeze. I can't imagine the power a python of that size must excert but the strongest man alive wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in hell at that point, much less an old Indo lady. One it starts the squeezing process it just plays a marathon game of physical excertion. Every time the victim exhales and goes to take another breath the python senses it and squeezes harder. Eventually it gives the victim no room to take in air and the victim suffocates, hopefully before the rib cage and proximal bones start breaking. Then it unlocks the hinged jaw and proceeds to devour the victim slowly, inch by inch, working it's mouth back and forth to get the victim farther down it's gullet until it's consumed.
I can only hope she passed out quickly, before the bones started breaking....

I’d love to see pics of that snake as they cut it open to find her.

Hurricane Andrew was the main reason. People evacuated and when they came back their houses along with the aquariums were destroyed. Happened on a grand scale with pet stores, zoos, and vet clinics.
