That right there shows just how stupid you are. Inflation effects everybody, whether you want to see it that way or not. In the past month alone my weekly grocery bill has increased by $150 and my monthly gas bill has gone up $325. That is neither sustainable or achievable for my family on our income. It’s forcing me to get a 3rd job just to eat normal food. And when I say normal food I’m not talking about steak and lobster, I’m talking chicken breast, ground beef, regular vegetables, it’s all gone up. So yes, inflation is really affecting me and my family. And frick you for voting democrat.

I live as close to work as possible - I can walk to my office. The problem is my rent has gone up 30% during covid. And if I wanted to buy a house it would be the same thing.

That's what nobody is talking about. The big ticket items in our lives have skyrocketed: housing, transportation, education, healthcare, etc.

The cost of an egg increasing 10 cents doesn't impact me. I probably spend $20 a year on eggs and I can take them or leave them.

So what are you going to say as the Fed has to raise interest rates and your property value drops? Are you okay with paying 30% to 50% more for your groceries….which will actually increase dramatically this fall when the fertilizer issue takes hold? Oh worse yet what you going to say when the Petro-dollar is no longer the reserve currency or are you too much of a brain washed moron to contemplate that?

When you can't evict people, you raise rent on everyone to cover.

Government created.

Inflation is playing a role in me deciding to liquidate some rentals. Maintenance is high as giraffe pussy with the cost of materials and I don’t want to jack up the rents high enough to compensate

As an OT baller, we are the inflation.

As normal people, yes we can tell. But it's worse for many more people.

What a stupid question

The cost of essential goods has doubled. Unless you are a person who grows their own food and produces their own energy then inflation is effecting you.

If you haven’t changed your lifestyle it means you are just saving less money than you normally would.

And since the cost of goods is going up you will need more for retirement. So you are saving less for retirement and need more for retirement than you did a year ago.

The fact that you haven’t realized this tells me you aren’t an OT baller. An OT baller knows his finances.

Republican here, and yes many people have. You need to get your head out of your arse and talk to people in the real world instead of Reddit. My business has taken 20% dip since Biden's 6 month mark. A lot of my construction clients have instituted hiring freezes to absorb the rise in material costs. It's picking back up but that's solely due to oilfield hiring increasing.

You’ll come crying when your 401k is sliced in half this year. All of the economic indicators are there for another crash and inflation is a big driver.

Inflation is an indirect driver because it will result in raising interest rates (one of the only ways to fight back against inflation)

That will cause the artificially inflated stock market to have a massive crash that we have been putting off since 2008 with quantitative easing and very low interest rates.

A storm is coming

Have been convinced that inflation isn't due to policy at all, it's all on corporate greed.

You can't reason with these people, they aren't educated enough to understand.

And yet we give these brain dead morons the right to vote? I think any half-way intelligent person was sitting there screaming stop the Covid stimulus shite and open the economy back up before inflation caught fire. Then when the dumbfrick canceled the Keystone pipeline (while allowing Nordstream…..I mean WTF?) I knew we were going to bleed out our collective assholes within a year.

With inflation plus interest rates going up plus the current sellers market, I don’t even know how someone starting out would buy a house right now.
