My wife has her doctorate, she is pretty dang smart in a lot of ways and not so much in others. My advice: don’t try to be right but be firm in what you want don’t without being an a hole. Don’t ask her opinion on any of your preferences. Some things are just a matter of preference and not worth arguing over.

Apparently my wife knows more than I give her credit for, but the shirt in question doesn’t have any blue in it and I’m still confident that she made up the part about knowing several people who work for dermatologists to bolster he point about not needing soap.

Her- It looks blue to me.
We go back and forth about whether the stinky shirt is black or blue and I call my son in for an impartial ruling. He says black.
Her - Boys have less developed rods and cones and don’t see colors as well.
