If you’re not getting a link to the MLS, ask your realtor to send it to you. There’s a lot more information than on Realtor, Zillow etc. You can look at sold properties with days on market etc and see if staging seemed to make a difference.

I'm not interested in seeing other people's stuff fill the space in the rooms in a house I'm interested in. I have my own stuff, I can visualize what will go where just fine. Staging seems like a waste to me personally. I'm much more interested in being able to inspect the bones of the house and any structural or other issues I'm going to have to fix. I'd rather not have a bunch of shite in my way when I'm looking for those things.

A good agent or agency will stage the house most times for free if your home has the potential for a solid quick sale. Also, some potential buyers have vision. Some potential buyers have no vision. It all depends on who shows up to look at your home. If you are hoping for a relatively quick sale I would suggest staging the home. Good luck!

Stage the living room somewhat. Everything else, who cares?

depends on the price point and the local market... your upper tier houses, it could help set the house apart from other comparable properties in a competitive market...
