Government using borrowed money to fund itself on a continuous basis. The government borrows money from you, and also forces banks to hold a portion of the debt. The only way to pay back the debt is to raise taxes on you to repay yourself.

Timeshares
This is a good one.
Build some condos, resorts, whatever.. Then charge a bunch of people to have the right to stay in them so many times a year.. Unless someone else has already booked the room during the time you want to go.
I just looked up the cost of a disney timeshare. There is one where you pay a one time cost of $28k. Then there is a recurring cost $103.88 a month ($1246 a year).
You can finance it with a 10 year loan in which can pay as little as $365 a month.
If you pay $365 a month for 10 years thats a total of $43,800.

Why should the bank perform additional work for free because you and the utility company have an issue?
Additional work? She just went into my account and with a few clicks of the mouse and a few keystrokes she was done.
And to whoever said this was a contractual agreement, I guess the agreement I signed probably mentioned something about agreeing to additional future charges, but what am I going to do? Go to another bank that makes me sign the same agreement?

I'm suggesting that they take advantage of people trying to better themselves but may lack the self control to do so
Giving them pizza to keep them in a cycle is pretty shitty

Bottled water
This is a supply and demand thing. You don't have to buy bottled water, you can get water from your sink (which still cost money)...

That is debatable. Well, I mean.. Sure you don't have to use banks, but it will limit someone if they do not.

Downtown parking.
The machines are designed to issue citations 5 minutes before the time expires, but those citations are never put on the vehicle.
You then receive a notice in the mail 2 months later saying you're late in paying and that you can only dispute in writing.

When you get taxed for income then get taxed on anything you do with that money (10% sales tax, property taxes, capital gains taxes, etc.) It ends up being more than 50%.
