Moving gives you a chance to purge and to do things better.
Yeah, it sucks in the moment but it’s an improvement in the long run, unless it is forced on you
I wasn’t trying to be a Debbie downer. I know it sucks. I’ve been helping a friend move recently. I try to look at the positive, and sometimes looking at the negative reminds you that temporary pain makes you appreciate the relief after it’s all over more

You’re absolutely right about that. We’ve given a ton of things to neighbors and have a big goodwill pile for whenever they open back up. It’s nice to purge and get rid of clutter.

One would think the appliances,beds and furniture would be the worst thing to move by yourself,but it was boxing up and moving the small parts of life that was accumulated that can't be let go of that is the biggest pain in the butt.
The big stuff was the easiest to move,a Tommylift on a truck and a dolly gets er done,piss anting that little crap sucks.

Wow you’re so tough and jaded. I wish I could be more like you. But my life of lattes and avocado toast hasn’t prepared me for the real world.
Jesus Christ. I’m just bitching about how moving isn’t fun. Believe it or not, I’ve faced plenty of tougher situations and will do so in the future as well.

Yes. Moving twice. As in moving it all to a temporary location (awaiting new construction, etc), all the while knowing there will very soon be yet another move to the final location.
