Wait until you get into your 50s.

Just a PSA for you young folks, Do your living, traveling, etc. while you are young. Don’t put off living until retirement. You may not be able to do the things you want to do in old age.
My addendum-
Travel internationally while you are younger, put off the domestic things for when you are older.
Three reasons:
A) You’re on your home turf in the US in case you have a medical, legal problem, etc
B) We have ADA facilities at many sites domestically. You’ll be able to see thousands of cool things and places in the US when you are older. Most other countries don’t even make an effort at making natural or historical sites accessible for mobility-challenged folks. Go see those while you physically can.
C) You’re sharper/quicker/more resilient when you are younger (ageist, don’t care). If you have to sleep in a hostel because your hotel or transportation reservation was cancelled, you can do it better at 30 than at age 60.

The older you get, the faster it goes. So it seems.
This. To me, it's like riding a bicycle up and then down a hill. Start at the bottom and you grind away to get to the top and you're halfway there. Turn around and head down and it speeds by.
That is how my life has felt for me, and approaching 73 in six more weeks finds it flying by. But, at least I'm not sitting in an urn on the mantle.
