It does sound terrible, but surely you must realize that it's the other way around -- everything has become infiltrated by politics now. I used to laugh at a lot of the people on here for being miserable about everything but at a certain point it's become overwhelming in culture. I can't go see a movie, watch a video game, watch sports, or anything like that without being lectured to on politics, and half the time it's implicating me in murder or genocide or something else incendiary. How can one not see everything through a political lens when the MO of these social movements is to disrupt everything in society with politics?
I won't say "shut up and sing" like others on here might... Artists have the right to express their opinions. But when artists everywhere decide to express their opinions, I'm going to form opinions on them, too.
