I literally pull the thing out around Thanksgiving and it goes back into the pantry at the end of December and I don't see it again until the following year

It’s a fairly simple machine. For what you will most likely use it for and the amount of times you will actually use it, it’s gonna do what you want it to do.

It’s like blenders. I don’t buy fancy ones and the same Walmart blenders i have bought still work just fine after quite a few years


These are all about quality of the gearbox. German bakery mixers became the top plastics extruders in the world, because it's all about the quality of the gearbox.

hard to say if it's worth it as my wife is the one who uses it more regularly than I. My favorite feature, which you could really use any mixer, is just shredding chicken.
