Thanks. I may have to plan a trip down to New Orleans. Hell if anything my girl can enjoy New Orleans for a couple days and still come out with a thousand dollars to the good or one hell of a time plus eyesight.

My friend got lasik and his eyes swelled up to the size of golf balls. The doctor said that happens all the time

Think I paid 1200 an eye 10 years ago by one of the best in Houston. Was well worth it.

Mines was about 3500. This wasnt for basic lasik. If youre getting basic lasik, then 4k is really high.

If I can piggy back off this thread, but what are the long term (10 + years) negatives or things one needs to know about? Is there different types other than Lasik and if so, which is the best (long term)? I would love to get something like that but just nervous on the long term value of them and if I should just wait another 10 years before doing something as invasive.
