I agree. I’ve slowly upgraded the old “smart” TVs that have multiple outside boxes attached to just a TCL Roku 4K. Bought a 65” 4K Roku at Walmart for less than $300 about 3 weeks ago. Picture is really good and yes you can download Apple TV app, all the apps actually and it’s easy easy setup. And one remote. Oh and if you lose your remote just use your phone.

ETA: 60" TV in your bedroom?

We put the 65" from the living room in our bedroom when we moved up to a 75".

I love my LG, but don’t go all in on the smart tv apps. I keep a fire stick hooked up for when the smart tv app inevitably shits the bad, which happened with my last Samsung tv too.

Walmart always has a giant Samsung tv on sale. And other brands for even cheaper.

For the average person, these will be far better tvs than the old one you’re replacing.

If you’re one of the tv snob types who appreciate the spendy tvs, you wouldn’t have had to post the question. So you’ll be happy with the giant tvs on sale at Wally.

You’re going to see prices for 70” & 85” as low as $600. A decent mid range 85 is going to be 1000-1600. The difference between the price points is the REFRESH RATE. Go with the 120 refresh rate.
