I think his average Bowie is around $2k, but I’ve seen them in the $4k-$5k range. The knives he made for me were not Bowies, but hunters. They were a matched pair and were $1,200 each. I commissioned them on the day my son was born with the plan being for me to keep one and for my son to receive the other either on his wedding day, 18th birthday, or some other momentous occasion. I’ll know when it’s time.

I recently came into possession of everything from an ole timer to a hatchet. What you need?

Burt Foster has some really nice stuff. He was on several episodes of Forged in Fire.

This one can be yours today for the low, low price of $49,000.00.

It should be made of adamantium and unobtanium for that price

That being said, there are good bladesmiths making really good replicas of the Loveless Big Bear. I've looked at buying one a time or two, but never have. I've thought about making one myself, but it is a too big of a knife for what I can do.
Bob Loveless came up with many designs that are popular today. Hell, he invented the "Drop Point Hunter", which may be the best type of hunting knife ever made.
One day, I will own a Bob Loveless knife, but I'd like to find one in the "wild". It likely won't be worth anywhere near $49K.
