The business can still require a mask. Their store, their rules. If you don't like whichever stance the business takes on masks, all you can do is follow their rules or tell them in no uncertain terms why you are taking your business elsewhere.

Exactly. You can politely tell them that they won't be penalized by law and show them the opinion, but they can still require it of you.

SCOTUS already ruled on this issue over a hundred years ago.

They sided with the masks.

Why is this so difficult to comprehend for some people?

because these people will say, "frick you! I ain't wearing no mask!".

people must be forced because many are selfish, know-it-alls who won't do whats appropriate.

My neighborhood bar doesn't ID unless you are going there on Friday or Saturday night.

If you show up on a Thursday after work, you aren't getting ID'd.

How do you reconcile that with the exemptions to the mask mandate? Do you have to walk around with documentation stating that you have a medical condition that exempts you from wearing a mask? What medical conditions fall under this exemption?

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask for thirty minutes while in a store or business, then you need to get an oxygen tank. Wear that mask. It provides you with oxygen and allows you to follow policies.

The whole medicall exemption is just a supposed loophole that conspiracy whackjobs think they found.
