I agree. The design language can be modern, but it has to respect the rest of campus. The BEC was a huge failure in that respect, as was the origional CEBA building, Middleton, the west upper deck of Tiger stadium, and Lockett Hall.

I'd be okay with designs like the new LSU gift shop or the new Choppin Hall building that at least fits in with the rest of campus. ECE has some nice design features too.
