Whomever is the executor of the estate Gould be able to handle this quickly my meeting with the branch manager in person. If not resolved there, an attorney would be needed.

Sure. And then I have to pay him a third of ehat is left in the bank… it’s not a huge amount.

If someone else had authorization to access the accounts the bank has no obligation to disclose their identity.

guess it depends on the state, but in some states if there’s no will, the state gets the estate

Nah. You’ll just pay them an hourly rate to draw up some paperwork. There is no settlement to be had. It isn’t a lawsuit.

I used to be up on the Louisiana laws but it’s been a long time, it really behooves us to have a will, revocable trust, or something similar and update it periodically

Yeah. Our will and trust for son is reviewed and updated annually.
