did I spell it wrong? I can never get the ' over the right letters - but I got the spelling right otherwise - which for me is a fricking victory LOL

Sad to say, I've never been to Europe, Asia, nor Africa but I've visited every state of the US and enjoyed every one of them. I often say that I've visited Fairbanks to Florida and Maine to Maui and life itself has been quite the adventure.

I will say that the two extended stays of Alaska were outstanding, seeing wildlife, mountains and northern lights as well as several to Oahu and Maui.

Near Honolulu, this moose came out of the woods near me and I froze in my tracks.

An up close and personal of a Grizzly was great.

and finding a 10 foot Whitetip Reef shark in an underwater cave off Maui was quite exhilarating too. My first time to go over a reef and seeing an eel with its mouth open made me suck an extra breath of air just like swimming near a green sea turtle.

Really though, the best parts was staying in any location long enough to learn a little of the local culture and history of the locations. It was an amazing experience being the only haole at a 500 guest birthday party for a 1 year old in Honolulu to sitting between to old rodeo hands at a South Dakota rodeo learning the finer points of spur placement on bronc ride and spending time in South Florida, Michigan, Dakotas, Texas hill country, Four Corners, Canada, much of the Pacific West Coast, and all of Louisiana.

I'd bore you with all the many gigs of pics I have on my computer from bugs in Ohio to Belugas in the Turnagain Arm of Alaska.

But vacations? Never really had one except for the cruise from hell in the Western Caribbean.

I decided to pull the trigger on creating a trust. Now I have to go learn what the heck a trust is.

I honestly don't know if it was spelled right or not.
I was just making light of the resemblance "Chichen" has to the owner of this place (Chicken).

On my to do list this month as well.

My oldest brother is my financial planner and he said I needed to set up an irrevocable trust - I think that’s what he called it anyways.

Said it allows beneficiaries to avoid probate.

I’m beneficiary of Moms along with my brother and he manages it. I’ll prob ask him to manage mine as well if something happens to me or DW.

My middle kid will likely be on some sort of disability or Medicaid so it’s important that she not directly inherit too.
