Lol
Here he is opining on the length of the Mississippi River.

quote:

MM is 0 at the mouth in Venice......New Orleans is MM 95, St Louis is MM 180 the beginning if the River in Minnesota is MM 875
Unless I'm totally off on the meaning of MM, I guess he thinks the river is actually a some type of wormhole tear in the space/time continuum.

St Louis is only 85 miles from Baton Rouge??

It really is.

I enjoy having my coffee in the mornings out here and a drink at the end of the day.

mp dph, when I lived in br, I used 2 do the 2 hour round trip drive 2 St. Louis a lot. Alzheimer’s Busch Gardens is a must see.

And yes, I would drive 85 mph

But it's on the river

As far as I know 'MM' stands for mile marker, unless it's some type of low iq 08 gotcha.

The Mississippi River is 2340 miles in length. That's a lot of length.

So you would get there in an hour???

Maybe it's only that short of a distance on the river.

Step #1 Purchase many large kegs of beer
Step #2 Throw a party and invite everybody (BYOS)
Step #3 Invite the Engineering fraternity nearby
Step #4 Invite folks who can get you after hours concrete
Step #5 You have a pool!

BONUS : If you can score some after hours lumber you get a nice privacy fence to boot!
