The Postal Service Reform Act of 2022 authorized $120 billion in emergency funding to help stabilize the agency, including $8.64 billion used during the pandemic.
Yeah. But that bill was to bail them out from a deficit created by a 2006 bill that required USPS pre fund pension benefits a ridiculous 75 years in advance. Before that, and without thet requirement, they were in the black. The 06 bill had them paying for pensions for people who weren’t even born yet. Yeah. That dig a bit of a hole

I posted this in another thread, but it is fitting here as well.
These jackasses try to bring their 3 pitbulls in a bar then end up getting arrested.

While generally not taxpayer-funded, Congress authorized specific financial support through the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022.

USPS stopped being taxpayer funded in 1983.
And delivering mail in a timely manner (if at all) in 1985.

Lulz, billions in taxpayer bailouts and loans but they are self funded? The reason for the bailouts and loans is because they lose money! How are you self funded if you lose money? The answer is....youre not. You are funded by taxpayers who fund the bailouts and loans.

When I was in 7th-8th grades I had a paper route, the old-fashioned kind riding my bike. There were some dogs on my route that used to come running at me like they were gonna tear my arse up.
Most of them didn't worry me but I was a little scared of a few of them. I went to the Winn-Dixie and bought a big sack of the cheapest dog biscuits they had.
Every time a dog ran at me I would throw them a couple treats.
In a week or so I had smiling friends all over my route.

Most dogs will run away if you stand your ground or go at them, especially if they are not in their yard. (Like they got out and are running free)
