How the frick does the NWS miss this forecast by 200 miles?
because the ULL is in Mexico and their met services aren't very modern - according to Dr. Masters on WU

Temporary break for some areas along I20 as the next batch of storms lifts north

Yeah, It's stopped for the time being. I called home and the wife said it's dropping in the back yard. Hopefully enough will drain before the next round hits. I'm just worried it won't have anywhere to go but up.

I'm in south caddo and we are currently enjoying a little break from the storms but I see the next round creeping up from Texas.

I-20 is closed from mile marker 55 to 35

You sure about the LC forecast? All the models I saw had the bullseye North of LC, south of S'port. Right over Toledo Bend.
It was forecasted to start YESTERDAY at around noon. Flooding rains.
Cancelled schools.
It's noon wednesday. We BARELY have a trace of rain here. It's drizzled for about 2 minutes since yesterday.

I'm sitting here in St. Landry. Nothing but drizzle all day so far. The winds are kicking though

Starting to rain pretty good again where I am. Hopefully the drainage had enough time to catch up.

TVN storm chasers Brett Adair and Brandon Clement are currently live streaming some flooded areas in Shreveport.

When it's pouring tomorrow and the schools aren't closed, it will be interesting.

Looks like someone found the keys to W's weather machine and unleashed it on LA again.
