According to investigators, they learned that the victim and several others were playing “op” music and were dancing on the corner of King Ard and Apple Street.
How does a news reporter not include what this means? Do they really think people are supposed to know broken urban trash slang?
EDIT:
The reporter - Michael Simoneaux
Looks young enough that he was likely taught ebonics and slang are superior and more equitable to proper English.

Rival gang goes to enemy turf, plays their gangs music, and dances around the corners. Sad but people get shot at for a lot less

Opus numbers are used to distinguish among compositions with similar titles; it can be abbreviated as "Op." You see, one group was listening to Beethoven's 5th symphony (in C minor no less) and the other youngsters are huuugggeeee Joseph Haydn's admirers. Especially of his Symphony #94 in G Major. Goes without saying, but Beethoven and Hayden had their differences. Ludwig was once deeply insulted after being referred to as a "Pupil of Haydn.' You're basically throwing gasoline on a grease fire by playing that orchestral number out loud for all on the block to hear. I'm glad they got this settled once and for all.

Darius
Zakarey
Davonte
Ja’Ray
Tykeem
Their mothers doomed them at birth with those names.
Imagine how many potential employers simply toss an application in the garbage after seeing one of those names.
