If women can talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk about gender equality, and prove it on the front line with the other Marines. I’m good with it.
Now. If they want “special” training, different from the men, then I don’t want them on the field at all fighting for us.

Army is not the Marines. We have been archaic for a long time. That is because the vast majority want it that way. Marines are the nostalgic brand of what American military is. Otherwise we would have been mixed-gender long ago. As long as we vocalize that standards should never change, they can continue to test it and fail.

Why should we continue to waste resources and have a woman take a slot that a man should have in training when the woman is 99.9% more likely to fail than the man. It makes no sense.

It’s the same thing with these children, you tell them no and keep that stance no matter how much they gnash their teeth and throw a tantrum. You’re the expert, not them.
Not really a good analogy for this situation. Who is the parent? Who is the child? The only ones saying no are those who apparently do not have the power to enforce it.
Work with what you have to make it work for you, not what you wish you could have.

The British, Libyans, Mexicans, Cubans, Germans, Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese, Iraqis, Afghans, have all been unable to defeat one of the world's smallest fighting forces - average strength of 3 ground Divisions with 3 air wings thrown in, total manpower averaraging about 175,000. There are women that want to belong to this organization and have something to offer in medical, administrative, technical, and logistics support, and that is helpful to the organization.
Integration into the real reason for the existence of the Marine Corps would destroy its effectiveness. The conversation is not about what could be gained by the Corps in adding females to the rifle companies and supporting ground forces. It's about people who are excluded from that service due to strength, musculature, speed, courage, willingness to destroy and kill at great personal risk having a desire to say that they are Marines. They are dependent on the belief that these missing qualities can be legislated into existence,

I don't disagree at all. The vocal minority pull this from time to time. Jump in the parapet and defend until they go away. At some point the over-progressiveness will subside, or they will find some other shiny object to go for.

Two thoughts.
Women in combat arms is a red line we can’t cross.
Doing so will compromise the Marines as a fighting force.
Compromises will not appease feminist critics. They will continue to push for more, until the Marines are fully integrated, at whatever gender ratio the Pentagon sets.
The best option is to given zero ground. And hold the line. For as long as possible.

That won’t work.
Look at what happened with the Green Berets. Big Army wanted a woman to pass the training course.
And so she “passed.”
Proponents of gender integration won’t let the policy fail. They would pay a serious political price.
So, as we’ve seen again and again, the standards will be adjusted till “enough” candidates make it through.
And they will drop the standards as low as they have to go, to ensure policy “success.”

No
They have an all women’s battalion that serves in a ceremonial role.
They do not use women in combat. Despite their acute manpower shortages.
If you’d like to know more, they go over it in the Marine Corps study. The study notes that we are the only country that seriously considers putting women into combat roles.

I agree women in the military is ridiculous, but be careful bringing up biological evolution. A lot of mouth breathers here don't understand it
