It’s a cumulative effect. It can stay airborne for a while. Masks (should) limit how much people touch their face, rub their nose etc and then spread it with their hands by touching shopping carts and door handles.
How is it that abortion is murder and many of you want to force your view on everyone else - because life is precious, yet you can’t be inconvenienced to wear a mask in public and as a result may end up killing innocent people? And if someone tells you to wear a mask or wear it properly, you think violence is justified.
Seems a little hypocritical to me. Is life precious or not?

Again, I go back to my kid innocently pulling down his mask to sneeze. Would you rather be in front of that sneeze while he’s wearing a mask or while he’s sneezing out into open space? Obviously, we drill him and his siblings on coughing/sneezing into elbows, etc. But, if his brain fails to compute that training, are you less protected by him wearing a mask? In reality that’s the argument.

I don’t accept that masks slow the spread, but even if they do. I don’t think slowing the virus is desirable. If you slow the spread, the epidemic will last longer, and you’ll ultimately have a higher fatality rate, because of that.

Furthermore what about all of the people dying from suicide, lack of healthcare, drug overdoses, undiagnosed illnesses, on unemployment?
