The guy shouldn't' have said that, but his point is truth. Making wishes isn't how the reel world works. Prayers seem like the lazy way of 'helping out', just like raising awareness, instead of doing something to actually help the cause.

I am heartbroken to hear that once again a place for peace and prayer became a scene of horror and fear.
please let us know at what point it's appropriate for someone who was the victim of a mass shooting to make a common sense statement like that following yet another mass shooting

Yeah because all Christians do is offer prayers. Check out who is the first on scene and last to leave a natural disaster. Offering one thing doesn’t mean you are not offering other things.
