I remember being 7 years old and my two older brothers always watched

That 1 year buildup of Sting vs Hogan at Starcade '97 was fricking great. Match..not so much.

my favorite Nitro moment ever was when there were like 50 stings that came from everywhere and hollywood was crushing them. Then the real sting was in the crowd.

1980s Mid-South Wrestling was the single greatest era of professional wrestling the World has known and will ever know. This is a fact.

Did anyone else go to Nitro at La Vela in PCB? We were there in '99 on Spring Break.

I loved the whole nWO and DX angles. Then I got laid and I kinda lost interest. I still watch every now and then but it's just silly compared to what it once was. A lot less wrestling now and tons more talking.

I went to several Nitros in Charlotte and Columbia.

One of my friends drug me to a Raw in Charlotte also.

WWF was fake so I didn't care

They just ran the nWo into the ground, got a lot of bad direction from Vince Russo, and let the inmates run the asylum in general.

I saw Ric Flair for the first time when he and Arn Anderson offered Curt Hennig his spot with the 4 Horseman at Nitro.

Hennig took and it a few weeks later slammed Ric's head in a cage at Wargames. Tragic day, almost finished his career.

Jealous man!

Flair was the shite. Was down right pathetic what Bischoff did to him in the late 90s. Dude should have been a main eventer, but wasn't even on Nitro every week

When he was, he was in tag matches or going against Jimmy Harts goons

I idolized these guys.

My sundays consisted of church, eating maw-maw's sunday lunch and watching mid-South Wrestling. Times were simple back then.

Yeah I remember that

Shortly after, the nWo (Nash, Conan, 6Pac, and Hennig) did the parody to Arn Anderson's retirement

That same night, there was a tag match between Luger/DDP and Scott Hall/Savage.

Luger DDP were about to win, and Luger accidently put DDP in the tortue rack. I went home devastated.
